Inter Milan’s Upcoming Matches

Inter Milan will be facing AC Milan soon. It is possible that Francesco Acerbi, a defender of Inter Milan, will be facing Stefan de Vrij as the Derby match comes up. This weekend will see the two giant teams cross paths. The clash sees two major teams of the Serie A league come in for a game. Inter coach is confident, mainly because they have been able to get clean sheets and three wins this season. As a result, Simone Inzaghi was able to maintain the same starting lineup that he had set for the beginning three matches.

Sky Sports, however, predicts a change coming up in the game formation. Sources say that Acerbi has overtaken de Vrij when it comes to the race to the starting point. That is probably because the 35-year-old player sustained an injury in the pre-season period. It kept him inactive during the first three consecutive matches of the current season. Since the Italian was unavailable the Dutchman was able to take up the opportunity to reclaim his starting spot. He had lost in the past season. De Vrij has displayed encouraging signs of improvement in his performance in the past weeks. Hence, some experts feel that he would retain his starting spot in the upcoming matches.

On the other hand, Acerbi has also established himself as a star player. Sources say that Inzaghi will be making a final decision about the players by this weekend. For the rest of the lineup, Yann Sommer will start in goal. Matteo Darmian, along with Alessandro Bastoni will take up spots in the back positions. Inzaghi will then unleash players Federico and Denzel in the wings positions. In the middle positions, Hakan Calhanoglu will begin between players such as Henrikh and Nicolo. David Frattesi will bring in energy after the interval.
